Amman, SANA- The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed its welcome for U.S. President Donald Trumps announcement of lifting sanctions on Syria.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the ministrys spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufyan al-Qudah affirmed that the U.S. presidents decision represents an important step toward Syrias reconstruction and opens new avenues for economic cooperation between Syria and the world, contributing to prosperity and growth for the brotherly Syrian people.
Ambassador al-Qudah also reaffirmed Jordans unwavering support for Syria and its people in rebuilding their homeland based on principles that ensure Syrias unity, security, stability, and territorial integrity.
